If you are able, can you create a ZIP archive of the contents of the "C:\Program Files (x86)\Fluke\METTEAM Email Alert Engine" folder and email it to me?

Service 'Crystal Reports Cache Server' failed to start. I got the same error and I was able to do what you did to get the application working on Windows 2008 despite the vendor not supporting this version under that DEP is a set of hardware and software technologies that perform additional checks on memory to help prevent malicious code from running on a system. Larry, I received your file.

Instead of clicking the Cancel button, open the Services console in Control Panel and verify that the Fluke MET/TEAM Email Alerts Engine service indicates “Started” in the Status column, then click RE: Error 1920 Insufficient Privledges to start service RacerJo (IS/IT--Management) 11 Jul 05 10:58 I was able to resolve this later that day. Doing this may provide further information as to why the service is unable to start. then restarted the server.

  1. I have 2 W2K3 hungarian servers.
  2. The error also says that the service cannot be installed.
  3. IE 8.0 is not a problem either I got that to work as well.

Submitted by Larry(36)25 March, 2013 - 07:28 Anybody seen this error? http://scn.sap.com/thread/1193788 In fact even if W7 was supported, I wouldn't trust it so soon after initial release. (just out of interest: is W7 officially released yet? Windows does not recognize it as a valid executable file. If the service is running as an account, that account must have full privileges to the Crystal Reports installation and files.

The MD5 value for the current MET/TEAM ISO image (version 1.0.4) is: 1c82ead5948ede5c059a93d6a1cfb8b5 The MET/TEAM Trial ISO image can be downloaded from here: http://us.flukecal.com/products/calibration-software/asset-management-software/metteam-test-equipment-asset-management-soft?quicktabs_product_details=4 Login or register to post comments this contact form I have 2 W2K3 hungarian servers. Stated it could not start email alerts. If that happens, you'll probably only see it listed for XI 3.1, not R2.

Did a bit of digging around and I see that this is deprecated for Win 7. Check your computer's system information to see whether you need a x86 (32-bit) or x64 (64-bit) version of the program, and then contact the software publisher. I'm not sure of the dates on that.

Thanks....it's on its way. You have shared Posted: 13 Oct 2016 - 04:57 by Don B. Close this window and log in. In services we changed to administrator for login - NO.

It was appearing to be the Data Execution Protection, "DEP" that was stopping the start of the service and throwing the 1920 error at the end of the install. Some say use local admin - but this is domain controller (no local users). I start CRM install and I get the"Error 1920 Service Crystal Cache Server (CacheServer) failed to start.Verify that you have sufficient privileges to start system services".If I choose Ignore, I get It appears the EXE file is corrupt.
